Icon night in Copenhagen
Since getting my hands on the first 12" releases from DFA way back (after a coincidental visit to the Plantain building where DFA and Plant Music shared offices), I have pretty much been following every release from my favorite NYC based label and producer. Once I heard James Murphy play a Dj set at Tribeca Grand Hotel (he played Daft Punk btw) - I think this was in 2002... so almost 10 years later I am happy to announce that I will finally be playing at the same house as Mr. Murphy. Old friend and former Vega Club honcho Jonas Hz has invited Murphy, myself, Tomas Barfod, Muzzle Flash and Jean Von Baden to play at the preparty opening of a new and much anticipated nightclub spot in Copenhagens (details on link below for details). Doesnt get much better than that, does it ?
Festival Summer 2011
Having already played at Distortion Festival (see the youtube clip below, dont be scared it was a RAVE!) I have a few more really exciting festivals coming up this summer:
C/O POP Festival, Cologne (off location party)
Trailer Park Festival, Copenhagen
Stekker Festival, Utrecht
...more niceness tbc...

MUZAK # 13 - Dj mix for Wood Wood

Remix news !
Over the past months Ive been remixing a few acts: App: "All I Can Think About" (coming out on WYS! Recordings in June (also incl. remixes by Marc Houle, Eric Volta and Kiki) - but I didnt do it alone.... On live bass and additional arrangement ideas I had help from Sexy Lazer (who also played bass on two other remixes for me: Retro Stefsson "Kimba" (Already out on Universal) and Moby: "Lie Down In Darkness" (releasedate TBC). Links to the remixes will follow shortly.
In the meantime, some guys did a funny video for Nicolas Jaars remix of "Heaven". Check it out:
